Kaingaroa Roading Scholarship

Applications open 1 August 2019

Applications open for one scholarship for residents of Kaingaroa, Minginui, Ruatahuna, Te Whaiti, Murupara and immediate surrounding areas on 1 August 2019.

The scholarship is for educational purposes for people who have completed their secondary school education or who are in their final year of secondary school. The scholarship can be used, for example, for study at a university, polytechnic or private training provider located in New Zealand, or for the study costs associated with an apprenticeship.

The successful applicant must be available for promotional interviews for the Geyser Community Foundation, and information about their scholarship and progress may be used in Geyser Community Foundation promotional material.

It is expected that the recipient will use the gift within 12 months of receipt.

The successful candidate will be selected by the Donor and the Geyser Community Foundation.

Applications close at 5 pm on 30 September 2019. Late applications will not be accepted.

The scholarship must be used for a charitable purpose and funds must be spent in New Zealand.

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

The scholarship will be presented to the successful applicant in December 2019

Value of scholarship to be confirmed.

The gift may be revoked if the recipient's behaviour is inappropriate or the recipient has breached conditions of the gift.

Awards will be presented to the successful applicant/s in December each year.  If you require funding prior to this time, we recommend that you apply the year BEFORE you need the funds.
